One of our latest projects......a DVD with Gospel singing by the TCEC staff interspersed with shots of Tutwiler, the Center, Habitat and the Clinic.

HOW DID THIS COME ABOUT? Several months ago, the TCEC staff was asked to sing some Gospel songs to a group of 35 or 40 people who were touring the Delta visiting Civil Rights and Blues sites. When we finished our 4 or 5 songs, a man in the group said: "You were really good.
You should make a CD." and handed me $500.00.

I was trying to figure out how I would do this when a friend of mine, Margaret Spiller SNJM, said she would be able to come to Tutwiler for about 3 weeks in October to help me with computers and several other projects. I knew she had a video camera so I asked her to bring it and see if we could make a CD or a DVD.

Margaret said she was not a expert on making videos, but I knew she could do it! So this is the result of many hours of filming in and around Tutwiler and MANY hours of editing on Margaret¹s part. I think we can say it is an amateur made DVD, but professionally reproduced. It comes with lots of spirit and love. We hope you can get an idea of our Town, our Center and our people.
